and more Ruffles
Been frantically trying to accomplish my list this week before we leave for vacation. It's too long. But here's one thing I got to cross off: Fourth of July inspired aprons for the girls (sorry to spoil surprise). I've been using this same pattern. I'm obsessed with it because it's so feminine.
I literally gasped out loud when I saw this post!!!! I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want one too!! How can we make that happen?! :) I mean, an americana apron? Sign me up!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me know what color. I probably have extra fabric. Don't worry...you've got connections. :)
ReplyDeleteyou can never have enough ruffles! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so pardon me while I reveal how dumb I am. I thought you'd figured out a way to combine all these colors into my favorite style--americana. But alas, I finally noticed all the ties...Sigh! I'm not too bright... :)
ReplyDeleteNope, but I have enough scrap to make each layer a different color...just for you!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, your girls will look terrific for 4th of July :-)
ReplyDeleteI foolowed your link back to the one you made for yourself, and it is just so wonderful, and I saw the link to the pattern thinking YAY, I can order the pattern and make my own! Clicked the link, and I have to say, your apron (and picture) is so much nicer than the one on simplicity's homepage! So much nicer!
Oh, I can't wait! I love aprons and I haven't seen too many for little girls. I love to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteSuper cutie patootie - I agree w/Em. I thought it was all together; that would be my choice, too. Where do you find the time?
