Good News

The good thing about having morning sickness is the only project I have had any energy to work on is that pesky needlepoint. Over the last month I finally finished Pennsylvania. I think it is safe to say I will NEVER ever needlepoint again. Never!!!! I've decided to file this project under very "dumb ideas". Even still..... I think it looks really great on my wall.

Oh these pesky needlepoints! The saga continues and I've vowed NEVER AGAIN. But I think it looks pretty cool in the mix of my collection. In a pop art sort of way. Now to tackle Pennsylvania.

Slowly, But Surely

Ok, this post is more to keep myself motivated with this project. It is so slow! I've just been working on it a bit each night after L goes to bed. But it's starting to come together. Can't wait to hang up on our freshly painted walls.

In Over my head

So I got started on my needlepoint states for our family picture wall. ....these babies take A LOT of time. I'm realizing I'm more of the quick and dirty type project girl. I don't like to linger on projects for long. Let's do it. Get it done. Move on to the next. But since I've started this I've got to finish. I think they will be worth it and a cool addition to our decor. Right about now though I'm wondering what I was thinking.

.....time, time, time and more time for this one.
