Peasant Skirts

This style of skirt has been a favorite for all my girls. So for Christmas this past year I made one for the oldest.  And then she in turn made one for her sister.  It wasn't particularly a surprise, because I had to O.K. the fabric first, with L. especially.  But is was fun and L. got some good practice on gathering--7 tiers worth of skirt.
