Giveaway

I'm feeling the need to give away the remaining bits of fabric from this quilt.  I think there are only 20 squares (4.5 inches), not an even amount of each print, just what's left.  Surely someone can come up with a fabulous use for them, right?

We'll make this short and sweet.  Leave a comment. Winner will be drawn tomorrow.  Maybe you could tell us what you did over the long weekend...

  1. I immediately thought of a pillow. But what 3 year old really needs another pillow? But a patchwork drawstring bag. . . with some white or tan leftover linen I have stashed . . . how great would that be?

This weekend I bit the bullet and learned how to sew my daughter a dress - using a pattern. that is quite an accomplishment for me. :)

  13. Let me just say that you and leslie were my inspiration to get back on the quilting train. (I've been off for 8 or so years) AND i've been piecing and everything. I spent the weekend at a legislative panel talking about the issues that will come up in the legislative session, dealing with an AWFUL waitress at my husband's birthday dinner, putting together a brick quilt top for a baby shower this saturday AND made a brandy cheesecake (TO DIE FOR)...... phew! It was long!

Count me in. My little guy would love a blanket for his two best friends, giraffe and grr. he's always putting them down for naps. :)

  14. I helped a friend get stuff from her parents house and store it here. They were madame Alexander dolls, with the box's and the China Cabinet to go with. We decided not to put the dolls out and put them back in the box's till my friend can come get them. Bigger job than I thought. Final count 75 dolls.
