Favorite Martha Hint

Take Martha Stewart with a grain (HUGE grain) of salt, but this is my favorite all-time hint: putting dish soap in an oil cruet.  It comes out just enough & looks cute with all the different colors of soap.  And best of all, even though it's glass, my 1st bottle did last about 10 years, which in our house is akin to the loaves & fishes miracle.

  1. You are HILARIOUS!! This IS a great tip. I need a new bottle 'cuz the kids have messed with mine/lost a part so that it now comes out fast! I know, shocking isn't it?!

  2. I wish I could still do this. My dear husband (who gratefully does the dishes a lot) could not figure out how to use the oil cruet comfortably, so I'm back to a little soap bottle. I miss my oil cruet-dishsoap dispenser!

  3. I love these--I've only had mine about a year or so, but it sure does look prettier than the ugly plastic bottle you buy the soap in--especially if you buy generic soap :).

  5. I got mine at Walmart for ~$3-4. It came with the spout thing on it.

  6. Same here--either Wal-Mart or Target for about that price. They come in different shapes and some look like cut glass. Take your pick.
